Bikes, cooking, and geek stuff

Made in to Bamburgh in good time, though had a few issues finding a campsite ( the first one’s camping field was closed due to boggyness). Find a nice place aeound the corner but it’s more exposed to very windy conditions we have right now. Already suffering from one damaged pole on Trevor’s tent, emergency repairs have been completed. Tonight should be interesting! Expest more news soon!

Bamburgh. Back into civilisation after the wilds of Scotland. Just two more sleeps before home.

Arrived at Aviemore at a rather, for us, 2pm. Camp site is great, in the woods brlow.the hills with a stream next to the pitch and the poshest bathroom block ever (makes my on suite look basic at home). Now off to persuade a red squirrel into Trevor’s tent.

Just having breakfast (some hot porridge, mmmm) and thinking about pulling the tents down. Midges out with a vengence. Next campsite aviemore.
